Cornflakes & Classics is intended to provide a comprehensive look at the musical work of Sir Elton John. It has evolved from my discography into the web site you are now viewing. In the original spirit of the Internet this site is totally free to all, there are no ads, no cookies, no "designed especially for users" of a particular browser. This one's for you.
The format is chronological, you can read through the entries for each year or jump directly to a specific year. The site also features a page on his amazing Pop chart success, Elton John: Charting the Rocket Man - 30 Years of Elton John on the Pop Charts (a US Top 40 hit every year for 30 years since 1970), and an Come Down In Time - Elton John Discography Timeline so you can quickly find the year a particular single or album was released.
The earliest archives of messages from The 22nd Row (August 1992 to February 1994) are also featured. More current digests are available on The 22nd Row web page.
I am especially interested in collecting articles on Elton John's career and music. If you would like to submit an album or concert review or an article about an aspect of Elton's performances or Bernie's songwriting, please email it to me and I will consider publishing it here.
Last but not least, there are certain people without whose assistance, contributions and support this site would not exist. They are listed on the credits page.
I'd especially like to thank Jim McKay and the members of The 22nd Row mailing list, posters to the alt.fan.elton-john newsgroup and the Hercules Internatinal Elton John Fan Club, whose web site is the best place for current news on Elton's activities.
I welcome your comments, articles and information. Enjoy!

They began working together in 1967... the rest is...
