web access logs

While we have our own web based logging utility for your web logs, we also make standard logs available to our clients. Each day we can put your access logs into a directory called "logs" in your home directory. The file is called "web_access" and includes all access to your page accessed under your virtual domain. Any existing web_access file is renamed to web_access.0 and previous one are similarly renamed.

All of this is controlled from the Control Panel on the web site. Just select "User features" and check out the help screens. In particular you will want the "Web Log Archiving" feature to have your logs archived and rotated for you. You can also enable "Generate daily web stats" to have the system analyzer generate daily or weekly statistics on those logs. Once your web stats have started generating you can access them by adding "webalizer" to the end of your main web page on Vex. You may also want to consider password protecting that directory.
