GOLDERS GREEN


power lies
in the sidewalk cracks at night   have
                           memorized
as the day can't believe         our
what the night tells her        favourite
these gaps                   paths
are also
in between the stares


the steet-lamp
was knocked out once
by a stone
that now lies
in a driveway



Trees

leaves are
sculptures of themselves
while
the arrangement of branches
in vertical ciphers
lead the climber
to easy
armlength conclusions
