IN THE NEWS:

Check out our new on-line review of last fall's successful day-long Toronto AES Seminar 2008.

The page includes YouTube excerpts from the video documentary the Toronto AES produced with Alan Hardiman during the seminar.

For this month’s meeting, courtesy of Koch Video, we will show the 90 minute performance documentary on the life and accomplishments of the legendary Les Paul, father of the solid-body electric guitar, inventor of overdubbing and multi-track recording, king of the ‘50s pop charts and architect of rock ‘n’ roll.  Les tells his own rags-to-riches story in a performance-documentary by filmmakers John Paulson and James Arntz, with a wall-to-wall soundtrack of the greatest hits from "Tiger Rag" to "My Generation."

Description

The inventor of the famous Les Paul guitar talks candidly about his life and achievements in this documentary.

Review From USA Today 08/17/2007

By USA Today Critic Mike Clark

4 stars out of 4 -- "What Edison was to the light bulb, 92-year-old Paul is to electric guitars..."

Distributor Notes:

Les tells his own rags-to-riches story in this brand new feature length documentary that was shot in HD. From his home town in Waukesha to Chicago, Nashville, Hollywood and the National Inventors Hall of Fame, CHASING SOUND! follows the incredible life, music and career of the irrepressible superstar.
