IN THE NEWS:

Check out our new on-line review of last fall's successful day-long Toronto AES Seminar 2008.

The page includes YouTube excerpts from the video documentary the Toronto AES produced with Alan Hardiman during the seminar.
A new aes.org is expected to launch some time in June 2009.

A primary goal of the new site has been to provide more value for AES members.

New features on the site include

•    Member profiles
•    worldwide section meeting reports viewable online
•    tutorials from conventions (stream online, members only)
•    improved layout
•    easier navigation, better organization
•    ability to easily search publications (papers, etc)
•    AES Journal podcast
•    AES Journal forum (discussion of papers)

The new website is a project of the Web Development committee which consists of AES Webmaster Steve Johnson, committee chair Nick Zacharov and two AES members living in Toronto: AES Vice-President, Peter Cook and former AES Student Delegate Assembly, Chair Josh Tidsbury.

Join us for a tour of the new site, to hear about some plans for the future, and in the process get an overview of the breadth and depth of the Audio Engineering Society.
