Disappearing lists

I am on a mailing list, and I've set the Filter
to divert the mail to a separate folder. So
far so good.

Problem: there is mail from 2 different list addresses
that I want to filter to one folder. But some of the
mail just disappears. I've set 2 different rules in
with the Filter command, each instructing mail from
one list to go into the folder. Any idea what's going
on? Thanks.
