Text search weird results

I have had a new (I think) problem with Yarn's text search feature. At
least I haven't noticed it before & I've been using Yarn since about
v. .70 or so. But first a word about my system, just in case it
matters: Using Yarn .90 and Yes .20 on Win95 system. My news.dat file
is around 86 MB. 486Dx/120 w/20 MB RAM on a 1.6 GB HD with 350 MB
free.

The problem is that for the following text search settings....

Search in: ( ) Subject Match case: No
( ) From
( ) Header
(*) Body
( ) Header and body

Search for: ATI*.MACH
--------------------------------------------------

The following two lines were found - in separate messages:

I'm doing software development on that machine and the Drivespace 3 makes my
< and > ^^^^^^^
>>>>preloaded. I need to run the good old DOS 6.22 on that machine.

Does anyone have any explanations? Is this a bug or a feature?
How could a space be mistaken for an 'I' or 'i'??

I know this ain't a big thing, but I'm curious - and it should be
fixed... I think.
