I use and like Souper for Windows version 0.2.
I've been using it either over a Trumpet Winsock connection or a
Windows 95 LAN connection. It works fine except for troubles in
aborting a downloading in process.
Now I'm trying to use it over a Windows 95 dial-up connection. It's
OK for downloading but doesn't send messages. It tries to send the
first message and after a while the modem hangs up. Souper shows
the error: "Expecting SMTP 250 reply, got 354 Enter mail, end with
'.' on a line by itself". Windows shows the error: "Error on socket
recv: Error 0". Then I need to finish Souper with ALT+CTRL+DEL.
BTW I was not able to run Souper95. Does it require Souper for DOS?
Thanks for help.
