Why don't you upgrade to version 0.90?
That version shows norwegian characters just fine.
Alt. you could upgrade to version 0.89 and use UNMIME to view norwegian
characters posted from programs not following the standard, as Free Agent.

To take care of encoded messages (like binary files), you may use UNMIME also.
But if you use it, you need to manually strip the headers.
METAMAIL may do this better. (I don't know).
