Is there some way to limit the amount of memory yarnx.exe uses? My main
machine at the moment is a 486/33DX with 8mg RAM and while sufficient
for most tasks I notice that when Netscape and Yarn are running
simultaneously the disk seems to get quite busy. I am assuming that the
virutal memory disk space is coming into play under WFWG. Until I add a
bit more RAM is there a way to improve on this?
In the same vein, I am going to go to 4-4mg simms to up the RAM to 16
mg in the near future. Anyone else running something similar that can
comment on whether this works well or should I go to 24 mg RAM or
higher?
I intend to buy a new machine (Pentium) in the near future so while I
want to upgrade the 486 a bit as it will become a dedicated Linux box,
I want to keep a balance between cost and performance.
And, speaking of Linux, is there a port of Yarn available?
