[Deleted persuasive arguments to give to Chin.]
Well, sure, but I can think of a *lot* of little quirks I'd say take
priority over this little nuisance.
First of all, I've noticed that NEWS.DAT never shrinks. It doesn't
*grow* any more either, but when EXPIRE reports so-and-so many bytes
deleted, it only seems to mean that this space will be overwritten by
new messages at the next IMPORT. NEWS.DAT doesn't *shrink* by that
amount.
Meaning that when some spammer posts a five-megabyte binary, I can't
reclaim that space on my hard disk afterwards without deleting my entire
news base.
And will Yarn ever get a functioning End key?
