The main reason I like Yarn is because it's so much like trn. The only
thing I'm really missing now is the thread tree, and perhaps trn's
ability to use flexible regular expressions. Ok, it looks strange, but
/\.jpg.*[1-9]\/[0-9]/:=:spix.uue:j
will show the subject lines of all JPEG pictures in the current
group, save them to file 'pix.uue', and then mark them as read. Then I
can later let "unpost" loose at the picture file. Unpost doesn't care about
proper order or anything silly like that, so all pictures get decoded
just fine, regardless of posting order.
Perhaps Yarn should use a menu for this, but I would still like to have
the ability to auto-select (or kill) all articles matching a certain
pattern, and to do a "mark all unselected as read and start reading".
Really useful for the noisy groups.
