} I'm trying to rebuild my news database with "rebuild -h" and "rebuild -o",
} but all I get is "sharing violation". "Retry? Abort? Fail?" I'm running
} under win95. Tried it under DOS and got the same thing.
A sharing violation means that some other program has the file 'open'
-- or, failed or forgot to close it when the program ended!
Try rebooting, press F8 as soon as the 'loading Windows 95' message
appears, and pick 6 from the menu. This will eliminate all the Windows
stuff and leave you at the dos prompt. If no other program has run yet,
there should be no files open. Run the rebuild from the dos prompt at this
time.
