Souper error: unknown service

I had to re-install Windows 3.11 recently, and now every time I try to run
Souper, I get the error messages "nntp/tcp: Unknown service" and "pop/tcp:
unknown service". As far as I can tell, the configuration hasn't been
changed, and since Eudora works just fine there shouldn't be any problems
on the ISP end. So what's happening?
