Killing Junk

As a newbie on here, I probably should lurk for a while. But this thing
is driving me crazy, and I feel sure there must be a fix.

It's the "junk" newsgroup that Souper always fetches first. It's full of
garbage that I have neither requested nor want, and it piles up very fast.
So if I don't want to spend forever waiting for it to download, I have to
do a -c 200 catch up first with Souper. Big nuisance!

Putting "junk" in my kill file didn't work, but I may not have done it
right.
