Suggestion: Newsgroup selection

I would like to suggest a change to the current method of creating
new newsgroups. Many people can get a file from their ISP that contains
ALL newsgroups that the news server carries. Lets call this the
"Possible New Group file" of PNG for short.

It would be nice if the newgroup command allowed you to select from
a PNG file any of the available groups. Even better would be the ability
to tag multiple selections from the pick list and "bulk create" them.

Another nice place to put this functionality would be in yarn itself.
Right now you can use the insert key to select newsgroups that are
in the newsbase and that you want to look at. If the list that popped
up not only included current entries in the news base but all entries
from the PNG file then you could select inactive groups as well. This
could cause the "newgroup" dialog to occur and the next time you upload
a SOUP packet, your .newsrc file gets added to appropriately.
