I think I understand this.
Problem is, that Yarn expires the alt.music.u2 FAQ after four days, even
though it contains an expires-header.. I realized this first by experimenting
with EXPIREX.EXE's -d option, but at present the FAQ has been expired
naturally. It was kept in NEWS.DAT for 4 days, like a regular alt.music.u2
post. That shouldn't happen, should it?
FAQ's header line: 'Expires: 19 Jul 1996 09:43:40 GMT'
My ACTIVE file line: 'alt.music.u2 amu2.0 4 60'
Fact: The FAQ expired after four days in NEWS.DAT.
Could someone straighten this out for me?
