In some periodes I have regular problems with my zipped soup
packages. To avoid loosing mail I copy my mail file to another
directory on the unix mashine where my mail is. Sometimes it is
impossible to import a soup package, even though I create the same
package, that is a package with the same mail messages It seems that
one or more messages in the mail disturbs either uqwk or the zip
program used to compress the files. One solution is to download the
mail file as it is, before it has been through both uqwk and zip,
this procedure works fine always. But then comes another problem how
to import this file into yarn. The import program expects to find a
compressed file, but this problem can be solved by compressing the
file with the mail, but then the import program expects certain files
to be in the cocpressed file, the error message I got when
compressing my mail file was something like areas not found. In the
documentation for yarn and import there is a -r switch that should
make it possible to import unix mailbox files. I thought that this
swich could be of use to import my mail file, but it does not seem to
help at all. I am using yarn for dos version 088. The interesting
question now is if I can get mail in the comming days so I can
receive the answers to my questions.
