Dear Yarn list,

I wonder if someone can tell me whether Souper 1.5 is capable of
retrieving news from a server that requires authentication. When I am at
home I can get email from my work address using the command:

souper -n work.pop.address username password

It would be nice if I could get news from the work nntp server with a
command similar to

souper -m work.nttp.server username password

I know of many mail programs that allow this e.g. WinVN and FreeAgent
[shudder ;-) ] but really would like to use souper and yarn.

If Souper 1.5 for OS/2 cannot handle nttp authentication can someone
suggest another program/mail reader that will and can produce soup
packets. Thank you,

Ian Goodyer
