Error-no 12 and 1 with yarn

Hi to all on the list.
I have been on this list for several years now but don't post often.
I have encountered a problem that may be yarn and then again maybe not.
Maybe someone can enlighten me.
I was importing a very large packet, i.e. 3.5 megs ziped.
There were about 1000 e-mail messages in that packet along with several
fairly large newsgroups.
The problem though was with the e-mail.
While importing I got the message "error-no 12 while writing message.
What does that mean?
It was not a problem of disk space.
I also got error-no 1 while reading message upon opening the mail
folder.
Not all my e-mail was there either.
I was using yarnx since yarn couldn't handle all the mail.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. it was yarn-091.
