Thanks. The error message is gone now.

But I still can't send mail replies. (sending news replies works fine).
I think it's because I'm not sure how to set the MAILER environment
variable. When I try "MAILER=smtp.xs4all.nl" souper95 says it's sending
the mail, but it doesn't. It also doesn't trigger the dial-up.
When I try it without the MAILER environment variable, souper95 crashes
with these messages:

SOUPER95 heeft een fout met betrekking tot een ongeldige pagina
veroorzaakt in module WSOCK32.DLL op 0137:7e2949f5.

C:\TMP>c:\yarn\home\souper95.exe -s -m -n
The instruction at 7e2949f5 referenced memory at ffffffff
The memory could not be read from

(BTW, I have set NNTPSERVER=news.xs4all.nl and I have not set POSTER=).
