That's a FEATURE of the metamail program you are using. When you type
in nothing, it says to itself: "I have nothing to store, so I won't".
When it gives "default name" it unfortunately does *not* mean "the name
I will use, unless told otherwise"; it *does* mean "the name YOU need
to type in, unless you have a better idea". *YOU* have to type in the
name, even if it matches exactly what metamail just typed out.
