I suspect it's because many of us have mail from this mailing list set
up to automatically be filtered into a Yarn pseudo-newsgroup, and the
reply address was hard-configured during the pseudo-newsgroup setup.
The address this reply message is sent to is not controlled by the mail
header of your message at all. All reply "postings" from my list.yarn
group here are automagically tossed to the defined "list.yarn" address.
I had to do the same type of thing for comp.os.os2.moderated, BTW, since
that group has an e-mail address for submissions, and since uqwk hoses
that up on my ISP. :-(

Can't you just cut-and-paste the desired destination address into the
"To:" field when posting the reply? I don't use PMMail at all, but all
the e-mail clients I've ever used seriously here have allowed that to
be changed on the fly (even in in mid-response) if needed.
