I have downloaded the souper for windows, v.05, but I cannot get into
the program. I have unzipped the souprw05.zip file into a directory
called c:\souper. I have copied the dll file from that directory to
the \windows\system directory, and I have created an icon in Windows
with the information it needs. A text and the path
c:\souper\souper.exe. Here comes the problem. I cannot get into the
program. If I clik on the icon, nothing happens, I am just back in
program manager. The souper.ini file has not been created in the
windoes directory as it should be, but there are no error messages. I
have tried to connect to my ppp account with my dialer, wich is the
one included with chameleon sampler, but this does not change
anything. The readme file says that "it is
necessary to install a windows sockets compliant interface." If this
interface is a special program other than the dialer, I would like to
know where I can find such a program. I would like to know wich ppp dialer other souper users
have had luck with. There are 2 things with my Windows that maybe can
give problems. I am running screenreader software, and I have
installed the 32 bit drivers version 1.3 that you can download from
Microsoft, these drivers are needed for other applications.
