Just one try: start VSoup with the '-t 1' option, which allows only one
NNTP connection. Does it still stuck?

To be honest: it is working for me and it should also work for you. I
can really see no point, why it doesn't! (if you are a programmer,
you can have a look at main.cc. There you see, that a signal handler
is installed for several signals, including ^C, ^BREAK. This signal
handler should abort the program).

One idea: which TCP/IP do you have installed. Because I have Warp
Connect installed, I have no idea, how VSoup will behave on a standard
Warp with IAK only. Perhaps you should install some fixes first for
IAK. But that question should be redirected to people who know more
about IAK (anybody out there?)!

If you still cannot find the problem and have emx installed, you could
recompile VSoup and enable debugging output in the makefile
(DEBUG,DEBUG_ALL,TRACE,TRACE_ALL). If you are patient, you will find
your problem in that output (and I can give you some assistance)
