This will report what is in the local newsgroup file, but not the
system newsgroup file. The local file exists for each user on
UNIX systems and can be edited easily with a text editor. To speed
up processing I sometimes go in and strip out all the unwanted
newsgroups. This also saves memory. The downside is that sometimes
UQWK has problems working with an abbreviated newsgroup file.
