Vsoup Problem - Too many open files

I put vsoup.exe into my souper directory. After starting my i-net connection using the DOIP I run vsoup.exe. Usually everything goes fine. But every now and then vsoup quits and gives me the following error message:

0000002.msg: Too many open files

The only change from running souper has been adding the -t switch. I have gotten the same error message with -t 6 and -t 8. Usually when vsoup completes successfully I get the message that 4 to 6 threads were used. I have downloaded the latest emxrt. Running emxrev shows all 50's.

Are others having this problem or have I left out something important?
