Soup or Vsoup absent note

Is it possible automaticly to send an e-mail to all who sends e-mail
to me when I'm absent, just to tell them that their mail first will be
seen by human eyes when I return from my vacation ??

Soup could theoretically do this, or...???

I have never heard of any software wich could do this for us offline
readers.

My computer starts with help from a timer each morning, and collects
news and e-mail from my ISP, therefor I would like to have this feature to
inform e-mail senders if I don't read e-mail's the next many days.
