However, I note that after a successful expire -r, I get a report of
say 10 mb deleted, but news.dat never changes size. I would expect that
it should reduce in size. After a while I have to delete news.dat, the
history files and all the files in directory overview and start over.
Otherwise the files get too large.
I have tried vsoup version 1.25 and find that it crashes warp 4.0 completely
as did the earlier version. In booting afterwards, allocation errors in
the last .msg file and stsmail.msg are corrected in chkdsk of the partition
with yarn. Vsoup doesn't crash the os every time, but most of the time.
I've gone back to using souper, which is slower but does not crash the os.
