I run expire and rebuild togather to keep news.dat size small.

Are you running COM.SYS or SIO? I've had SIO crash with internal
processing errors (very rarely) when I was running PMLM. This was SIO
v1.45, v1.60 the latest, has not crashed at all.

When SIO crashes the system, the top left corner of the screen will say
"... error in SIO$" or something like that.

I have never had VSoup crash (any version) with Warp v4.0.
