Editing Active

I'd like to make a group active which I help moderate/clean up, but don't
want to subscribe to in my .yarnrc on my host (it's a binaries group and
I don't want to download it). I just want to be able to insert messages
such as the FAQ from time to time. I'm assuming all I need to do is edit
the "active" file in %yarn%. Does anyone know exactly what all the
entries mean, so I can make an appropriate one for this group?
