resurface / action date folders function in YARN

Idea for Chin:

Would you like to have a particular E-mail/post resurface to remind
you of actions you have promised by XX/XX/XX date?

I don't know how YOU use yarn, but for me it is virtually everthing.

In E-mail, I make promises. In USENET, I promise to provide certain
information as well. It would be nice to pull up those articles/promises
later for systematic review, which we can do by storing in a folder,
but better yet have them return. Wouldn't it be nice to have a
folder or two for Deja-Vu family event E-mails (say birthdays, New
Years, wedding anniversarys, etc) that come in early, yet the action
date is (user-defineable) in the future?.

I would like to postpone some things into the future, and have them
pop back up to remind me, in advance, what I committed to. 2nd in
importance to the INBOX folder, yet shows up on the main screen
below "You have new mail!" perhaps "Action Pending") as a major
item to check before getting into the time-eating swamp of USENET.

How? What I propose is that Chin create a special folder, perhaps
called CHRON, FORWARD, or RECURRING, that we can post news/email
articles to that will be scanned (optionally, in the config file of
course) on startup (or demand) and mention made of this folders
existence, and the closest date for action that we (users) specify.
When saving to this folder, we go into our editor and find two new
headers we can edit:

X-RECALL-DATE:
X-NOTE:

We could input a date (stored in say the X-RECALL header), and a
brief note (X-NOTE) perhaps of action to be taken. Alt-L might key
an automatic pop-up dialogue, asking when "L"ater this item should
be dredged up for review.

Adding just a little bit of personal organizer functionality into
YARN could make it a more flexible product without going overboard
into excess featuritis, methinks.
