I'll go you one better...I'd like the sort and display settings for each
individual newsgroup and folder to be however they were left at the last
time I viewed that newsgroup or folder (except, of course, for the all vs.
unread.)

Unfortunately, this isn't the kind of thing a companion utility can solve.
