Does it work now?

The docs don't say. Now that I'm more familiar with mime I suspect it
handles all types. It seems to me there is no need to treat one
type much different than any other type. They all get base64 encoded.

I read a review that said like "munpack doesn't do as much as metamail"
and I misunderstood it to mean it doesn't do all types. Now, after
playing with it for a while, I think the reviewer simply meant it
doesn't start any applications on the extracted files. It doesn't
require a mailcaps file.

Try ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/os2/archivers for:
mpack15o.zip 80151 Aug 10 1995 Mpack/munpack v1.5, encode/decode MIME mail messages
os2md6.zip 29989 Dec 1 1995 OS2md, OS/2 MIME message decoder

I haven't tried the os2md6.zip but it sounds like it's similar to
munpack.
