Another option is the format

"Bob Dole" <bob@xyz.com>,\
"Dan Forth" <dan@123.com>,\
etc.

Any RFC 822 (I think...) compliant TO: header field should be ok. In fact,
sometimes I can get away with Bob Dole <bob@xyz.com> without the quotes...
