I assume the numbers in the newsrc in the yarn subdir in your *home*
are the articles still active in the newsbase that have been read
(or have been marked so by scoring.) What you want to edit is the
active file in the *yarn* directory. My active has the following
line as an example.

yarn.list ylist.0 7 31 yarn-list@lists.colorado.edu < mailto address
^ ^ ^ maxkeep date
| | keep date
| shortcut written by Yarn (?used by readart.*?)
pseudonewsgroup name used by filter

The mailto line could be the moderator's address.

For those of you who have me in their addressbook, I've changed ISPs
(i-link moved out of Austin for points west.) So you need to make
this change (and don't forget to kill the 'spambuster')
