The "Not ready" sounds more like it was generated by Windows or
another program than by Souper. The question is: what's not ready?
My guess is that it's your dialup Internet connection. Have you tried
connecting to your Internet service provider before double clicking on
Souper? Or at least, have you started your dialup software before
starting Souper? Could you run other Internet software such as
Netscape?
If that doesn't get you going, what is the exact text in English of
the error box including the title bar if there is one? Also, what
what kind of icon and buttons were on the error box? Was the text on
the error box in English? If it was in English, and you're running a
Danish version of Windows, that would indicate that it that it wasn't
Windows that was not ready.

It sounds like you followed the instructions in the readme file. I
assume from the way you filled in the icon properties in step 3, that
you placed Souper into the "C:\DIR\" directory. If not, use the
Browse button on the icon properties to find Souper.exe.
Have you tried starting Souper from the File Manager by double
clicking on it?
I also assume that you got the icon properly setup as Windows would
complain that either the command line or the working directory doesn't
exist when you try double clicking on the icon. The icon for Souper
should be a soup can with a plug.
Let me know if you get it working or if you have any other questions,
