Would it not be better to use a somewhat less ancient editor?
While I only have 16MB RAM, I have yet to come across a file which
cannot be comfortably handled by EPM. I know the problem existed
in some DOS editors >10 years ago, but even then I could use XyWrite
to edit large files - on a system with only a couple of MB.
