No, that won't work. If I recall correctly, Souper has its own
environment variable, also named NNTPSERVER. You'll have to
change your Souper setup to be able to connect to th news server
of your choice. I'm sure it's in the docs somewhere. The shell
variable will only work with shell newsreaders like RN, NN and
TRN, and with UQWK.
