Now that cvt09 has made hash out of my 10-megabyte newsbase--deleting
all my news files in the process--I don't see what cvt07 and cvt08
could do for me anyway.
The ENGLISH.UPG file in 0.92 makes no mention of any earlier conversion
requirements. It's too bad that ENGLISH.UPG assumes that all earlier
conversions have been made, and couldn't have included a warning that
cvt09 destroys anything other than an 0.8x newsbase, rather than
alluding (misleadingly) merely to "previous versions."
