My understanding is you need to make sure you're using the nntp version of
uqwk (compile uqwk with the nntp-version makefile), create your .newsrc
file, and set the environment variables correctly for uqwk to know what
server to contact. That's what I remember having to do when setting this up
in my wife's ISP account.

Hi!

I'd like to set up UQWK to work in a new ISP which doesn't have a news
server. So I need to use a public one. How do I perform this task? I
suppose I have to set an environment variable but I don't know which.
BTW my ISP OS is Linux.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but Unix is an unknown world for me.
