YARN OS/2 and PGP

Well, I have a rather irreverant, but highly relevant, question to ask.
I downloaded and installed the OS/2 version of YARN 9.0 and the OS/2 version of
SOUPER. They both work great. My question is this, why were DOS BAT files
included for PGP instead of OS/2 CMD files? I tried to use the BAT files by
copying them and naming them PGPE.CMD and PGPD.CMD, it adds my signature with no
problem, but it doesn't seem to be right somehow.
