Running external utilities from within Yarn

As I have mentioned earlier in this mailing list, I need to route some
FidoNet mail via the Internet to one of my friends who have moved to the
states. I also need to route his answers from the Internet into FidoNet.
This is no problem, since I have the .CMD-files to do it. But can I set up
Yarn to automagically (or when I press a key) export the file (it is either
uuencoded or MIME encoded) and run the correct .CMD-file?
I could of course check have my start-Yarn-.CMD-file check for the correct
files after having exited Yarn, but I would really like to do it from
within Yarn, without the need to close Yarn down.
