I agree, YARN is a vastly better reader than NetTamer.

NetTamer uses NNTP to access the news server, and so you need something that
does two things:

1) talks to the news server with NNTP
2) creates the files that make up a SOUP packet.

Probably your best bet is a program call UKA_PPP, unless you want to use
something that runs under Windows. Unfortunately, I don't have the URLs
handy here, but I'm sure someone on the list can point you to a web or FTP
site.
