Yarn 0.92 still exhibits this behaviour.
My personal workaround is to not use Follow-up, but to use Reply,
choosing "all recipients" initially. In the editor, I can trim the To
and Cc lines so that only the mailing list will receive my message.
Not very convenient, but certainly less work than save-then-modify. :)
I am on a number of Majordomo mailing lists, however they do not seem
to have any problem even if I give them the Newsgroups line.
The only trouble is that people are using Pine, and Pine honours the
Newsgroups line even if it appears in emails, AND some careless people
doesn't know how to tell Pine not to post in the listed newsgroups. :)
I blame Pine for deliberately blurring the boundary between emails and
news; I mean it doesn't help users distinguish between the two, thus
potentially embarassing the users.
It would be nice if future Yarn's could get rid of the Newsgroups line
(after translating it into email addresses), since it is useless (and
confuses our Pine user friends :)).
