Souper: can't send to AOL?

Does anyone know why certain sites (most notably AOL, but also Case
Western Reserve University) can't receive mail from Souper 1.6, under
OS/2 Warp? If I have mail for those sites I have to FTP the reply
packet to Panix and run uqwk -- not exactly fatal, but extra time.
