My wife and I have our own computers, and one internet
account between us.

What I do is archive these messages on import in a batch
file on our respective machine.

Like so:

souper95 -n my.isp.net bpaddock password
C:\UTL\arj ac msg *.msg AREA*.*

The archiver 'arj' (version 2.55 and latter) has what is
known as chapter archives. That is you can keep adding
files of the same name with out overwriting the last file of
that name.

We copy the msg.arj to the machine that we didn't use to get
the mail on.

Then run a batch file called 'get.bat':

if exist msg.arj arj e -y msg-usa -jb%1 *.msg

This batch file is called by other batch files, for example:

call get 1
call get 2
call get 3
call get 4
call get 5
call get 6
call get 7
call get 8
call get 9
call get 10

Not the best solution but it works for us. Only down side
we've found is you have to remember to delete the msg.arj
after you've imported the mail or it keeps growing and the
next time you switch machines you get the same messages
over. You also have to know who got the mail last and on
which machine to keep things in proper arrival order.
