I think you mean public _news_ servers. Basically, there are none.
Demon has a public server - pubnews.demon.co.uk - but that one is
frequently down and always *very* overloaded. The problem with such
servers is that they're often abused, and create a lot of traffic
from all over the world, with no noticeable benefit for the
maintainers.
