Perhaps some oddities in the documentation. You should use the
newlines more generously.

Simply write:

comp.sys.atari.st {
-1 from old.salt
}

all {
-1 from glatt
}

And also check, that VSoup is pointing to the intended score file
(generate a status mail via -M option).
