Hi, Tom.

I am not currently using Souper95, for various reasons. However, this
is not due to having any problems with the program, rest assured.
But, I can attest to the effectiveness of my filters :). BTW, I have
Souper95 (version 1.6?) installed on my system. It is the command
line version, ported to Win95, as I recall.

Anyway, I will show you one of the entries in my Souper95 global score
file, to try and assist you:

all {
-1 pattern Newsgroups [^,]+,[^,]+,[^,]+,[^,]+,[^,]+,[^,]+,.*

(NOTE: The above line deals with crossposting, so that anything sent
out to more than six newsgroups gets "killed", i.e., deleted so that I
don't have to download it. It can be modified to suit one's own
preferences. This filter, is, by far, my favorite one, since it cuts
out LOTS of Usenet spam.)

<cut>

}

I hope this helps.
