This is what I keep hearing too. I found a fellow's web page where he
keeps a list of publicly accessable servers, but you have to email him
to get the really good ones that haven't been swamped... I'll try this
and let you folks know.

Thanks, this is useful. I'll pass it along to the administrator who's
working on this.

As far as I know, you're right - it's only MCI, via a node in
Vancouver. From what I hear, MCI changed their software or something,
and it was feeding us too fast for our server to accept them.
Something like that. Our upgrade is supposed to be done this weekend,
so I'm crossing my fingers that things will be working after that.

I'm still interested in other useable news servers though. Who knows
when ours might crap out again in the future. Thanks a lot for the
information.
